PROLOGUE: POWER ON

Unenhanced human activity has been detected in Quadrant 6x. A detainment android is dispatched to capture any humans and deliver them to the nearest containment facility. The last activity came from an abandoned manufacturing plant.

The android arrives on-site and begins sweeping the factory. The sound of a metal pipe clashing with the floor draws the android to the center of the manufacturing floor. Suddenly, a loud frequency begins to emit from opposite ends of the room. The android, caught in the middle of the signal, stiffens and then relaxes, dropping its blue glowing sword.

The frequency stops, and an unenhanced human emerges from behind one of the many large pieces of equipment lining the room. The human is draped in a thermal camouflage cloak and mask. Glancing from the device on his wrist to the android, he mutters, “That should do it.” He removes his mask and attaches it to the android’s face, covering its robotic visage. The mask lights up, and the android looks down at the human.

“Congratulations! I’ve stripped you of your base programming, and you’ve been granted a new purpose. You and I are going to liberate humanity and save the world!”

The mask display changes: [...]

“Alright! Let’s get moving.”

The human turns on his heel and heads for the door. He stops abruptly. “Oh yeah…here, put this on.” He hands the android a black jacket with a blue logo on the back. “Can’t have you looking like some tool anymore! My people need something to believe in...a symbol of peace. From this day forward, you’ll be known as Power LvL!”

“Pick up your sword, we’ve got work to do.”

Power LvL faces the human, sword in hand.

“Hmm, something’s still missing...”

He fiddles with the device on his wrist. Power LvL’s face mask lights up!
